Work

My work was focused around conceptualising a new Jet-Engine design. Week 1, I learnt about the Jet Engine history; everything from its inception to its subsequent improvements. Week 2 was spent studying an existing Jet engine model: I chose the AL31FP, which is currently used on the Sukhoi-30 Fighter aircraft, A Saturn series soviet engine. Week 3 I laid down the parameters of what I thought to be the specifications and qualities of my ideal jet engine and attempted to find a practical research gap in the current technology. Week 4 I spent bringing my ideal design to reality using SolidWorks and created a hybrid turbojet engine with ramjet capabilities.

Experience

The past month was very hectic. I had college lectures and tests along with company placement tests and interviews, so that made finding time for my research work more difficult. However, as a result of persevering through it, my time management skills greatly improved.
