Work
"An Unforgettable Journey: My IAESTE Internship in Germany" In the summer of 2016, I embarked on an extraordinary journey to Germany, courtesy of an IAESTE internship in Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Acoustics. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Foken and alongside my remarkably cooperative colleagues, I was set to explore uncharted territories. My mission? To compare various stimulation methods for experimental modal analysis on vehicle assemblies and delve into the intricate world of vibration analysis, all within the framework of modal analysis. The challenges were as daunting as they were exciting, and I couldn't have been more eager to take them head-on.
Experience
But this experience was more than just professional growth. It was about forging connections that transcended borders. I found myself forming friendships with people hailing from over 15 different countries. Weekends became an adventure as I journeyed to many major cities across Germany and explored three neighbouring countries with newfound friends. It was a crash course in culture, language, cuisine, and beer! I discovered flavours and traditions that were a world away from my own, and each experience added a new layer to my understanding of the world.
Discover
My time in Germany was nothing short of life-changing. It challenged me, broadened my horizons, and enriched my life. Looking back, my IAESTE internship is one of the best decisions I've ever made. This adventure has opened doors, not only for my career but also for my soul. It's a chapter of my life that I will cherish forever, a testament to the power of curiosity, ambition, and the beauty of international collaboration. ------Best Regards------ Rajon Bhuiyan IAESTE Intern at the Faculty of Automotive Engineering (July-November 2016), Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (WHZ – University of Applied Sciences Zwickau), Germany. & B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh.
