Work
I had the opportunity to do my internship at the Ruhr University of Bochum in a study on Voltage gated potassium channels. I learned many new techniques that will help me in my future as a biologist, I was able to collaborate with researchers from different countries and, in addition, I was able to travel and discover the culture and history of Germany. It was an unforgettable experience!
Experience
The accomodation provided by the comitee was great and the host was very friendly. Bochum is a very nice city and the people were always friendly. It was also convinient that it was close to other bigger cities like Dortmund, Cologne and Dusseldort that made the experience even greater and gave me the chance to know more about Germany and its History and culture.

It was the first time I was away from home on my own and for such a long time, but this taught me to be more independent, more resilient at facing problems and also to be more self-confident.
