Work
I worked on next-generation flying vehicles their design & Jet engine for commercial civil air transportation & civil aviation service. I studied Lockheed Martin X-59 QueSST and its Jet engine GE- F414 manufactured by General Electric. This was a great opportunity for me to have a look into the aerospace industry & Jet Engines apart from this I had worked on designing the CAD model of X-59 and analyzed the design from a mechanical and aerodynamic point of view.
Experience
This experience was pretty new for me as this was my first internship and was international and remote-based. At first, I was very a bit nervous as I am from a Mechanical field, and the internship was purely based on Aerospace and I wasn't so familiar with the field but as time passed my guide helped me with all the pre-requisites and he introduced me to this new subject I was venturing into.
Discover
After this internship, I discovered a new field in which I can pursue my Masters. Being pursuing my undergrad in Mechanical it is very confusing to determine which field to pursue your masters in as there are so many options from manufacturing to design or structures or motorsport and after this internship, I discovered my interest in this new field in which I may pursue my Masters apart from this I realized how supersonic airtravel can be achieved one day and be made more economical and feasible by overcoming one of the major issues of current supersonic travel that is the sonic boom.
