During my time in Nepal, I interned in the International Office of the Kantipur City College. Here, I wrote articles for the website, helped out with student clubs and organised exchange programs with universities abroad.
Experience
Nepal is a very special country! I got to learn a lot about its fascinating culture including rituals and festivals thanks to my IAESTE Mentors who answered my endless questions. Moreover, I got the chance to connect with a few locals, try lots of delicious food, and gain insights into the daily life in the capital city. I can't wait to come back and visit the friends I made here!
Discover
One of the reasons I chose to intern in Nepal was the countries vast mountain landscapes, and they didn't disappoint! I went hiking in the Himalayas two times and have to say that those trips are still among the most beautiful ones I ever went on. In my free time and on the weekends, I also explored the hiking trails around Kathmandu with my friends. I would recommend a trip to Nepal to anyone who loves the mountains!
