Work

This internship was about research and development in Urban Air Mobility Operations and I was assigned the task to model an Air Taxi. I designed the model using Autodesk Fusion 360 and researched about the developments and future of the aerial industry and how the changes will affect our daily life.

Experience

The internship was a virtual one and I would love to have been present in Bangladesh and work in person. In spite of being a virtual internship I have gained a lot of knowledge about the aviation industry, how to design and present a research report and helped my build my communication skills. Interactions with the remote interns with the help of IAESTE has been a delight and has helped me broaden my network and gain knowledge and experience in my field of interest. I was in constant contact with my employer Mr. Sumon Sarkar who has been extremely helpful and kind to me. It was a great experience.

This being my first virtual internship, I have learnt to be flexible and how to work effectively and grab the best opportunities available at any time. Scheduling tasks every day and working on your own has helped me in building my confidence. I was satisfied after designing the Air Taxi and made me feel like a good designer. This was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
