Work

My internship was a 6-week internship on the topic of Gas turbines. I learned about the governing laws of an engine, it's history and various thermodynamic principles associated with the engine. I researched about the components of an F100 engine which is used in F-15 and F-16 tactical warfare aircraft. Under the guidance of my mentor, I prepared well-researched reports, learned how to make a Gantt chart as well as designed an engine prototype.

Experience

This internship was extremely crucial for my career. The experience I gained in designing the engine prototype is very valuable. I enjoyed the whole process of digging deep into multiple research papers and trying to find various design specification which I can use in my prototype.

Discover

As I have always been fascinated in the field of aeronautics this internship helped me discover the exact domain of aeronautics in which I would work towards in my career. During this internship, I diligently worked on the design of the engine prototype which I was making for the very first time which was completed successfully, because of this I learned about various stages of the engine and how their working is interrelated to each other.
