I was working as a research and development intern where I was working on additive manufacturing of composite materials and mechanical testing of those manufactured materials. It was amazing to work on new cutting-edge technology. I gained a lot of experience in working in the research environment. This internship helped me in shaping my future career in the research field.

Experience

Things were not normal during the year 2020, even though there were restrictions I managed to visit nearby beautiful places. Before going to Belgium, I heard rumours about waffles, beer, fries and chocolates and those rumours are soo true. I enjoyed the Belgian food and culture. I cannot forget crazy Friday night party, Saturday hangovers😅. Making new friends from India, Pakistan, Brussels, France was the cool part! I personally want to thank all my friends who made my stay awesome.

They say times flies and its so true. I cannot even imagine how those two and a half months flew. If I turn back in my life and open Belgium chapter all I can see is crazy friends, great time, Belgian beer and good memories. During my stay in Belgium, I gained many cool friends which is a priceless bonus. My experience with IAESTE made to apply for more internships in different countries.
