The end goal of this research study was to acquire an in-depth understanding of the RD 33 Engine which Is used on most of the MiG 29 Variants. In addition, the intern also aims to address any shortcomings in engine performance (Brayton Cycle) at various flight regimes performed by the aforementioned fighter jet. The Purpose of the report will be served in respect to the research intern gaining a very detailed and intricate understanding on how turbojet engines function. Moreover, it also acts a basis on which further improvements to the functioning of the engine can be suggested.

Experience

Well, Since it was a remote internship I did not get to experience the cultural exchange part of it.

I definitely learned a lot in terms of how to conduct a proper research study and how to come up with a scientific report. At the same time, i also learned a lot about turbofan engines, which will help me in my career.
