Work

I worked at Technical University Vienna (TU Wien) at the Automation and Control Institute (ACIN) Vision for Robotics Lab. I was privileged to work in the computer vision field, which has profoundly affected my life. I learned more about Robot vision and engaged in robotics vision research. I was also able to work apply principles of robotics vision in various projects carried our all throughout my internship program.

Experience

It was a very great country. Met new people from different parts of the world, missed Nigerian food and tasted food from various parts of the world. forged great connections. Studying abroad or doing an internship abroad has a lot of great benefits. My internship experience has given me more clarity on the career path I want to pursue. It has also increased my theoretical and practical knowledge. The Austrian experience was a great one. I could adapt quickly, with the help of my colleagues who were very supportive and provided me with support whenever I needed it. I had the opportunity to visit historical sites, museums, operas, and parks all throughout my stay in Vienna. It was a great experience. We also had events like international evenings, get-togethers, and so many other fun activities. The city is so friendly and beautiful and moving around is not a problem. The food is also a great experience. Viennese have a great rich food taste, and there is a lot of food from different places and countries of the world.

I learnt a lot about myself, and that I can achieve anything I set my mind to do. With an open mindset, zeal, and eagerness to learn I was able to learn new things, and perform research work. It made me see the practical effect of what is taught in the classroom, It made me appreciate technology more, and the potential technology has to revolutionize the continent. Meeting people of different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, colours was a fantastic experience. this has deposited in me the "I can also do it mentality" we have the potential, the ability, and the ability are not limited by colour or race. We also can achieve great things.
