Work

My work consisted in analysing fintech and its impact on financial inclusion. I could research the current situation in fintech in various countries, focusing on India and Peru. I also investigated its influence on financial inclusion for people and businesses and the differential value of the best fintech start-ups globally. For this purpose, I revised literature and papers and analysed quantitative and qualitative data.

Experience

It was one of the best experiences I could have had as I am starting my professional career. I learned to be better organised and the importance of being responsible. I had to meet deadlines and divide my time with other activities while considering the time difference between India and Peru. Additionally, the internship helped me improve my English and learn new skills, as well as the importance and ethics of citing the work of other authors in my work. The professor was very kind, she guided me very well through the research and I could learn a lot from her.

Discover

Before doing the internship, I was more oriented towards the marketing area, however, the internship allowed me to explore new study fields and learn a lot about them. Additionally, this experience made me interested in research and how can I have a positive impact on society. I understood and suggested how fintech helps to make financial services accessible to more people. I am very thankful for this opportunity. Despite the pandemic, I had a great international work experience. Thanks a lot!
