My task was to do a pumping test. The professor who looked after my project is a very nice woman. She was happy to help me and explain everything I didn't know. This internship helped me move forward with professional English because in my country I study in my native language.

Experience

In Manipal, there were several dozen trainees from around the world, which is an ideal opportunity to meet new people and learn many interesting things not only about India but also about other cultures. Accommodation is at a very high level. Single or double room, Air conditioning, fan and personal bathroom. I went on trips every weekend. I visited and saw many wonderful places. Intercity communication is well developed, you can get almost anywhere by train or bus. Accommodation in every town can be booked through the mobile application. Everything is cheap - food, accommodation, transport.

India is a multicultural country, very different from European countries. What I have experienced there will stay with me for the rest of my life. First of all, I noticed that material things are insignificant. You only need a few clothes to travel, you don't need a wardrobe. I realized that when travelling, the most important thing for me is getting to know culture and people, not travelling from place to place and seeing monuments. As one Indian friend said: there are travellers and there are tourists.
