What is more exciting than working on three of the most futuristic domains in research and technology - Quantum Computing, Machine Learning and Reconfigurable Computing. I worked with RISE research group at the University of Sharjah. And publishing 3 Journal papers and 2 Conference papers at (undergraduate level) in a short span of 3 months is proof of the success of my internship. During this internship, I learnt the art of carrying out quality research. And the internship opened new doors into the universe of research and technology for me.

Experience

The IAESTE Experience is one of the best things happened to me in my life and choosing IAESTE was one of the best decisions I have ever made. No regrets! I loved every bit about this experience, from professionalism at the workspace to the adventure with IAESTE family and the IAESTE local committee local and the aesthetics of the classical Arabic Architecture. The memories will always be as exciting as the experience was!

I feel that quality internships are essential to developing key skills that you can't get in a classroom. Skills such as multitasking, communicating, learning to deal with diversity, and dealing with deadlines are different when you are working for someone else, not yourself like you do in college. During this internship only, I could truly assess myself and improve. And now I have very valuable experience under my belt. I know this experience help me in job seeking and needing references. The publications from the internship is a great addition to my resume. Apart from academics, the internship allowed me to learn a lot from my colleagues from all around the world. The exchange of the culture and the experiences during the program is really invaluable! I would love to re-live the experience any given day again.
