We are expanding!
Can IAESTE expand more, if we’re present already in over 85 countries? Yes, we can.
The geopolitical situation is so dynamic nowadays, that the number of countries in the IAESTE network is one of the most changing statistics about IAESTE. First months of 2018 were very successful for enhancing IAESTE family, after welcoming France again, we welcomed Kuwait Iceland. We wish them all the best in their IAESTE adventure.
Iceland IAESTE committee is formed by students with the support of the universities and mentored by IAESTE alumni.
It sure is good to be back! Iceland used to be a part of the IAESTE family, but unfortunately, the committee was had to be put down in 2007/08. Now we have re-established the committee and we are ready to get to work!
Our committee consists of students of the University of Iceland and soon the University of Reykjavík will also join us. Each department of the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Iceland has its own student union, and each union has its representative in the IAESTE committee - says Villborg Vala, the President of IAESTE Iceland.
We are thrilled to be back and excited to continue working with you!
Kuwait IAESTE committee is located at the Australian College of Kuwait and is run by the department responsible for external relations. They have nominated first students already and also raised their first offers.
It gives me great pleasure to join the IAESTE family. The Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) is committed to providing an enriching experience for future interns in the State of Kuwait. Presently, ACK is working to establish an office to introduce the program to students, employers and key institutions across Kuwait.
I look forward to building collaborative relationships and many successful years ahead - says Joumana Tasse, the person in charge of IAESTE Kuwait & ACK Coordinator – Industrial Outreach.
