News from the world of the international educators - NAFSA 2018

Olga Legacka, Development Manager and Thomas Faltner, Board member, represented IAESTE A.s.b.l. at the event to promote the IAESTE mission, establish new contacts, strengthen relations with current members and partners, gain insights into current trends and competitors and to be inspired. We were also to use the occasion to meet IAESTE friends from around the world.

Based on prior research, we presented a poster outlining IAESTE internship's impact on career development potential titled “IAESTE changed my life”. More details about the research deadline will be published soon via our social media channels.

We would like to thank IAESTE United States and their parent organisation, Cultural Vistas, as well as IAESTE Panama and Knowledge in Panama, for helping enhance IAESTE's visibility, as we were able to display IAESTE merchandising material at their booths.

It has been a very busy week, but it was definitely worth bringing IAESTE to NAFSA - we received positive feedback about the IAESTE concept and many institutions were interested in our mission and exchange programme. Now, will be a busy time, following-up on all the meetings we had - we will keep you informed of the outcomes.
