Bangladeshi student, Jaydeb Sarker on his experience in Germany
IAESTE is elaborately called the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience but I think it should also be referred to as a family and purveyor of emotion.
As a working trainee of IAESTE in Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, I attended IAESTE events, made many friends from different countries, visited lots of places in Germany and had a nice working environment in the university.
Generally, spending all your time studying might be boring for some, but the IAESTE programme provides study with refreshing work experience and the enjoyment that comes with different types of friends from all over the world.
I want to especially mention the IAESTE events, Jena and Berlin, from my experience in Germany. I have made friends with Asian, European, African and both continents of American students, learned about their cultures and enjoyed parties.
I will remember IAESTE my whole life. I think it’s one of the best opportunities for students to get both technical and cultural experience. I want to give thanks to IAESTE A.s.b.l., IAESTE Germany and IAESTE Bangladesh for supporting me for my internship. I also want to give thanks to all IAESTE members in Germany and Bangladesh.
