7th International Festival at University of Tehran
It included a 3 day exhibition starting from 22 May, 2017 and finished by 24 May, 2017 with a closing ceremony on 24 May.
This festival is annually held to celebrate the international life and activities at the University of Tehran with various cultural and artistic programmes. International students and professors, local officials’ office (IAESTE, CONFUCIUS and DAAD), foreign diplomats and cultural figures. introduced their culture or activities.
IAESTE Iran also presented IAESTE activities, and over 500 catalogues and pin badges were distributed and comprehensive information presented to participants. Finally, a great closing ceremony was held on the last day with the presence of very special guests, including ambassador, scientists and chancellors of Universities. Some international Institutions also participated in this event.
The University of Tehran is Iran's oldest modern university. Based on its historical, socio-cultural and political pedigree, as well as its academic profile, UT has been nicknamed "The Mother University of Iran" and it is the symbol of higher education in the country. Over 55,000 Students in different level are studying at University of Tehran.
