New Exchange Year - out with the old and in with the new

IAESTE has been exchanging students since 1948 and some parts of our work remain the same as they did all those years ago, while others have changed with the advent of new technologies. Although we now operate a year-round exchange, students wanting to apply for an internship the following summer can still do, and September to December is still traditionally job-raising season.

While many trainees are still on their internships and while others are on their summer holidays, IAESTE is aleady thinking about the new exchange year. It officially begins on 1 September and will as always, involve a long period of hard work and communication. Finding high quality internship offers from employers and institutions is always an intensive task, but one made easier by the support of IAESTE alumni around the world.

Many of the hundreds of thousands of IAESTE alumni are now in a postition to provide internships and give students the same opportunity they themselves once had. Others are happy to provide contacts and support. Whatever you can do, please do get in touch with your national committee and let them know or email us at alumni@iaeste.org and we will connect you with the right person. We will know this year's exchange numbers in the coming weeks, and we are hopeful of seeing an improvement, but in order to grow in future, we need your support. Now is the time!
