IAESTE Award presented to Prof. Manuel Heitor

During the summer IAESTE Board meeting in Lisbon the president of IAESTE A.s.b.l. had the opportunity to give an IAESTE award to Prof. Manuel Heitor, Minister for Science and Technology, and also a professor from the Instituto Superior Técnico. He is a great supporter of IAESTE acitivities in Portugal. The meeting was organised by the APIET members (Associação Portuguesa Para A Permuta Internacional De Estudantes Estagiários Técnicos), the body that takes care of the finances IAESTE Portugal, who were also present. You will recognise Bernardo Herald, who was the National Secretary of IAESTE Portugal for many years and also a former General Secretary for the association, together with Prof. Prof. Arlindo Manuel Limede de Oliveira, President and Prof. Luis Miguel Silveira, Vice president for International Affairs of the IST.
